This is an interesting way to get to know other people and yourself.
Some of the questions are very thought provoking. Difficult dilemas are proposed.
This book ha a lot of questions that make you think....really hard too hard maybe.
This is a fun book. My wife and I have been married for almost 15 years - so we really don't need conversation starters - but we had fun going through some of the scenarios and discussing them. I'd have given it 5 starts - but some of the scenarios were too extreme and outlandish.
For some reason I thought this was going to be about how to chit chat at social occasions. I agree, these are more suited to social occasions where everyone is drunk and uninhibited. And fart comments galore. Good thing I didn't pay for it.
These could be scenarios from the John Quinones (sp) TV show. Try reading this while on a treadmill if you want a half hour to fly by and if you enjoy laughing out loud before you can control the laugh. Great fun for some deeper thinking about yourself.
While some of the questions were thought-provoking, the majority seemed a little contrived. Also, several questions were similar in their setup.
If you struggle with starting conversations in groups of people you already know well, there are a few good questions here. It will take you less than an hour to read as well.
These ideas are flat out stupid. Many are embarrassing, and most are inappropriate for strangers, coworkers, or people one might encounter in a social setting off of a college campus. They're not worth the price, and the price is less than a dollar.
