I first came across Healed while at The Boston Comic Con. In a sea of self published drivel about post apocalyptic vampire knights in shining armorHealed was a tropical island paradise! The concept is so original it takes my breath away. All disease is cured and there are no deaths except those
perpetrated by man or unfortunate accidents? It sounded amazing to me! I bought the issues available at the time and was amazed at the quality of not only the writing but the artwork. Griffin is the perfect person for this story. His pictures make the story flow like a TV series. I also love that the stories are broken down into individual "episodes." If you're looking for something to fill in the wait for the new Walking Dead or Saga collections I promise
you won't be disappointed with Healed.

This comic series is amazing. I read the first issue and was hooked. It is both thought provoking and emotional. It definitely gets you thinking about "what if". The story touches on many different people and situations and keeps you riveted. I could easily see this being turned into the next "Walking Dead".
An intriguing premise backed up with relatable stories. Immediately thought of this book while watching HBO's series The Leftovers, for similar premise of world and life moving on after Rapture-style event.
